Colorado Rapids v Inter Miami: Lines, stats and preview

For the first time in their short history, Inter Miami travel to face the Colorado Rapids at Empower Field on Saturday, as both sides continue their 2026 MLS campaigns.

Colorado is off to a strong start at home this season, winning all three league games at Empower Field by a score of 12-3.

Matthew Wells’ side have played a dominant role in their performances so far, having scored 19 goals since the start of the season, tied for the most in the league, and have also conceded 10 goals in regular season home games.

Despite their home form, the Rapids have struggled against Eastern Conference opposition this year, losing both, and will be looking to rectify that trend this weekend.

Inter Miami, on the other hand, are entering a new phase after the departure of Javier Mascherano, with Angel Guillermo Hoyos stepping in as interim coach.

The Herons remain unbeaten in their last six MLS games and have shown resilience, picking up points even after being dropped early in several games this season.

Their attacking quality remains at the top of the league, although they drew 2-2 with the New York Red Bulls last week, with Lionel Messi failing to score.
