Manchester United vs Leeds: Text analysis, updates, goals and stats from the Premier League

Manchester United and Leeds meet tonight in a Pennine clash with plenty on the line at both ends of the table.

United have been rejuvenated under Michael Carrick and a win would help them cement third place in the Premier League ahead of a chasing pack that includes Aston Villa and Liverpool.

Carrick have lost just once since replacing Ruben Amorim in January and the hosts are in good shape to get past a Leeds side who have registered two Premier League victories since Christmas.

The West Yorkshire side start the evening three points clear of the relegation zone, with rivals West Ham and Nottingham Forest both picking up points this weekend. Tottenham remain in danger, having lost at Sunderland.
