Keep Up the Look of Criminals or Clark On The Mark

Guards 2B Juan Brito (24) got the call this week to fill in for the injured Gabriel Arias and got a few hits in his first start. He walked twice as often in nine Triple-A games (6:3) and was slashing .314/.405/.457 in Columbus. I’ve been a long time believer in Brito’s bat and I suspect he’ll play a long-term role with this opportunity.
Tigers BY Max Clark (21, AAA) should join Kevin McGonigle in the majors soon. He is hitting .382/.476/.559 with seven walks, two hits and four stolen bases in nine Triple-A games. The team seems to like Parker Meadows a lot, but he’s not the type of guy to block the game’s best field chances during the playoffs.
White Sox IF Tanner Murray (26) had a fantastic spring and carried that over into the regular season at Triple-A, hitting .304/.467/.609 with two home runs and two stolen bases in six games before the big club called him up. He’s 0-for-5 so far with the Sox, but he fits all over the place in Fantrax and could be useful to anyone looking for hitters.
Another member of Club Hot Spring, Victor Bericoto’s bullies (24, AAA) kept the party going, slashing .323/.405/.548 with one home run and 16 R+RBI through eight games. There isn’t really a place for him in San Francisco, but things can change quickly here.
Cardinals C Jimmy Crooks (24, AAA) has four home runs in just seven games and could steal part of the big league catching gig away from Pedro Pages, an outfielder who is likely to make that a slow process.
To implement the ABS challenge system, players had their listed height adjusted, and a bunch of guys were instantly shorter. It’s not all bad though because it has the added benefit of being a bit on the small side. Come in Luis Lara Producers (21, AAA), listed at 5′ 7″ 169 pounds. He’s off to a hot start, slashing .303/.395/.515 with two home runs and three stolen bases in nine games while flashing his trademark plate skills. The Brewers senior leads the league with 22 steals and the team’s second-fastest 11 over seven games.
Twins SS Brooks Lee is hitting .192 with just five hits to go with 28 plate appearances in nine games. He is also a below average defender. I realize Minnesota is in no rush here, though Kaelen Culpepper (23, AAA) looks more likely to stick in the top six for a long time, and already has three home runs in nine Triple-A games. I don’t think they will make this exchange anytime soon, but I will wait until they do.
Mariners LHP Kade Anderson (21, AA) threw four scoreless innings with six strikeouts and one walk in his pro debut. I don’t think he will be beaten much by the children. It’s just a matter of waiting for a chance to rotate the stack.
Here is what I wrote about it SS Angel Feliz (19, A+) in Washington Nationals Top 10 Prospects For 2026 Fantasy Baseball on October 5, 2025, which feels like three years ago.
“Feliz is signed for $1.7 million through 2024, but he’s likely a free agent in your major leagues. At 6’3” 185 lbs, he’s a prototypical athlete who checks all the boxes and could move up the ranks quickly if he can improve to a 105 wRC+ during his first 84 regional games. He hit just .230 in 31 games with Low-A but managed three home runs and a league average of 97 wRC+.”
Through three games this year, it looks like I’ve made the right call on him pushing him into that top ten spot, which I like to save for this kind of hope. Feliz is hitting .375/.643/.500 with six walks against one strikeout, good for a 238 wRC+. It’s interesting.
Diamondbacks SS Kayson Cunningham (18, A) had eleven tough games in Low-A last year (68 wRC+) after being drafted 18th overall by Arizona. Those few weeks were enough to enable him to pay for royal purposes during the winter. This spring, you look like a new person. It’s only been four games, but it’s nice to see him slashing .571/.700/.714 with six walks and one hit.
