Reports, results, goals as Inter and Napoli win, Nottingham Forest, West Ham and Rangers draw, Ajax beat Burnley and Dybala scores for Roma

Top clubs from across Europe continued their preparations for the 2026/27 season by playing friendly matches on Sunday.
Premier League side Nottingham Forest drew with Portuguese rivals Vitoria while reigning Italian champions Inter won as part of their training camp in Italy.
Serie A clubs Napoli and Roma were also in attendance, with Paulo Dybala scoring a free-kick for the Giallorossi.
Dutch giants Ajax beat Burnley, who were relegated from the Championship last season, at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
Nottingham Forest vs Vitoria: Igor Jesus score
Forest took the lead in the first half as part of their training camp in Portugal when Igor Jesus scored following Ola Aina’s effort.
Vitoria, who finished ninth last season, leveled the game 1-1 with Miguel Nogueira’s second-half penalty after Tyler Bindon’s challenge on Zeega.
Forest have not revealed their list to the public.
Cannes vs Roma: Dybala twice, Wesley red card
Paulo Dybala’s superb free-kick and assist for Donyell Malen to score from inside the box put Roma 2-0 up in Cannes, where Wesley earned a second booking for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side in extra time in the first half.
Striker Dybala was beaten inside the box and added a second after the break, but Julian Lopez’s volley from a corner and the final shot from close range launched a comeback for the hosts.
Brice Oggad’s extra-time penalty – given away by Artem Dovbyk’s poor play – finished the score in a 3-3 draw worthy of a cinematic city.

Napoli vs Carrarese: Hojlund goal helps Allegri out
Max Allegri won for the first time as manager of Napoli with a 2-0 victory against second team Carrarese in Carciato.
Matteo Politano hit the crossbar in Fabio Abiuso’s early opener for the Serie A side before Rasmus Hojlund headed in and Antonio Vergara converted a first-half penalty.
Vergara, who recently signed a new contract until 2031, was withdrawn in the second half due to a knee injury.

Ajax vs Burnley: Bouwman, Ouazane give the hosts victory
Michel Sanchez’s first home game as Ajax manager ended in a 2-1 victory over Burnley, headed in by a close-range strike from 18-year-old defender Aaron Bouwman.
Dutch striker Jaydon Banel equalized for Burnley with a second-half deflection, but the Amsterdammers’ 17-year-old midfielder Abdellah Ouazane scored the winner five minutes later.

Rangers vs West Ham: Stalemate at Ibrox
Scottish title hopefuls Rangers and relegated Premier League side West Ham played out a 0-0 draw in front of more than 48,000 fans at Ibrox, including 2,600 away fans.
Home keeper Ivor Pandur twice denied James Ward-Prowse, while teammate Mads Hermansen made saves from Mohamed Diomande, Thelo Aasgaard, Tochi Chukwani and Lawrence Shankland.
