Tottenham green light Cristian Romero out as Inter Milan set 10-day deadline
It’s been a busy summer for Tottenham Hotspur and it looks like the chaos is set to continue.
The Lilywhites have spent more than £200m on a number of arrivals, including Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes, but those arrivals have always been unlikely to arrive without exits.
With the World Cup over and Cristian Romero close to returning to domestic action, it looks like he will be among the names heading for the exit door.

Having just come off a dominant World Cup with Spain, there is a good chance that Porro is the only original man left standing behind Spurs and speaking volumes about his importance. He played on the biggest stage this summer and will be very important under Roberto De Zerbi. |

One of three new signings at the back, Van Hecke is set to replace Romero. The former Brighton man is similar to the Spurs captain in terms of aggression, but he is arguably better at handling the ball – something De Zerbi will love. |

The same can be said about Marcos Senesi. The former Bournemouth man is an excellent passer and, combined with Van Hecke, should provide Tottenham with a more advanced, more reliable partnership. |

Robertson will be as important on the field as he will be in the locker room. He is a proven winner and that is very important to the North London club at the moment. |
Given Spurs’ impressive business, they should have no problem letting Romero go this summer. When the right offer comes along, they should happily open the door.
Tottenham’s green light Cristian Romero is out
As reported by Italy’s FCInterNews and relayed by Sport Witness, Tottenham have gone for Romero who has given the green light, but are looking at a potential pair to match their €50m (£43m) asking price.
Inter Milan are among those players, but are aiming to secure a deal worth around €40m (£34m). The Italian giants have told North Londoners they have ten days to accept their terms or walk away from the deal.
Whether Spurs take that threat seriously and accept a cut-price offer to sell their defender remains to be seen. For now, reports suggest that they have named their price and are ready to sell quickly if that is matched.
Tottenham are ready to confirm a move for Antonio Nusa
Romero’s departure will pave the way for other arrivals at Tottenham, and that strengthens Antonio Nusa. It is reported that the Lilywhites will increase their pursuit of the RB Leipzig players, who were among the best scorers in the Bundesliga last season.
Nusa recently impressed for Norway at the World Cup, scoring a superb goal against the Ivory Coast, and would be a good alternative to Manchester City’s Savinho.
