Aston Villa are determined to improve their attacking options this summer, and could spend, with Fabrizio Romano revealing they have set a huge asking price for Morgan Rogers.
The transmission expert said: “Arsenal want to sign a top defender. The name, the main thing on their mind is Morgan Rogers. Arsenal want to sign Morgan Rogers. The deal with this player, as far as I understand, is very close, it’s something that Arsenal sees as close, it’s not a problem, but Aston Villa starts at £130million.
“This could be negotiated in the end. We will see, but Villa are starting at £130million for Morgan Rogers, which is very expensive. We have to see what will happen in club-to-club negotiations, but Arsenal are working on a deal for Morgan Rogers as a priority.”
With Roger’s future in serious doubt, Villa may need to start thinking about bringing in a new winger, and they are looking at a player who can work either side, namely Paris Saint-Germain star Ibrahim Mbaye.

According to a report by TEAMtalk, Aston Villa have held talks regarding Mbaye’s deal, but there may be competition for his signature, with Newcastle United, Brighton, Everton, Leeds United and AFC Bournemouth also doing the same.
PSG are now keen to offload the youngster this summer, as they can give him a regular place in the starting XI.

Scout Jacek Kulig is very fond of the star, and suggested that his performance in Senegal shows that he has what it takes to reach the very top.
The midfielder has made 15 appearances for Senegal, scoring four goals, and was in the lead when they were beaten 3-1 by France in the World Cup.
The PSG ace has also started to impress for PSG when given the chance, scoring in a 2-0 win against Lens in Ligue 1 in May.
Mbaye may need regular playing time if he is to fulfill his potential, so it would make sense to leave the Champions League holders this summer.
