Bruno Fernandes is expecting a rude reception in Miami when Portugal face already qualified Colombia despite the presence of international star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Thousands of Colombian fans are expected to descend on the Hard Rock Stadium to watch their team seek the point they need to finish top of Group K of the World Cup.

The victories over Uzbekistan and DR Congo were played in Mexico, meaning this is the first chance for US-based fans to see Nestor Lorenzo’s boys in the flesh.

And Manchester United captain Fernandes accepts it will be yellow in South Floria tomorrow night.

“I think that if we face Colombia, there will be more Colombians than people who want Portugal to win, but that’s fine, that’s football,” he said.

“There will be games where we will have a lot of people in our favor and some where we won’t, but that’s part of football.”

Portugal need a win to overtake Colombia at the top and will go into the game with a lot of confidence after their 5-0 win over Uzbekistan last time out.

Coach Roberto Martinez dealt with striker Ronaldo and his patience was rewarded as the Al-Nassr man scored twice to become Portugal’s top scorer at the World Cup and the first to score in six World Cups.

Undoubtedly, most importantly, the fact that stopped the buzz around Ronaldo and his importance to the team.

“It was important for our captain to score. For us it was important for him to score. He is our key player in attack. We are very happy with him,” added Fernandes.
