Tottenham are “surprised people” after Mateus Fernandes’ renewal involving Man United

Tottenham’s summer transfer window has developed into one of the busiest and most ambitious businesses in the Premier League.

The north London club have recently terminated the contract of Brighton defender Jan Paul van Hecke after agreeing a £52 million package.
