Liverpool are in talks with Barcelona target as Edwards wants a reduced contract
After securing their business with the arrival of Victor Munoz, Liverpool are now holding talks to sign another La Liga star Andoni Iraola.
The Reds welcomed Munoz on the manager’s request, as they look to revive heavy metal football at Anfield following their attacking struggles at the end of Arne Slot’s tenure.

According to Anfield Index, Liverpool are holding talks with Adrei Ratiu and his camp over a possible move this summer and Michael Edwards is looking to secure a deal worth less than his €25m (£22m) release clause.
Rayo Vallecano would reportedly accept an offer in the region of €20m (£17m) in what would be a hefty sum to solve the Reds’ problem at right-back.
At such a price, however, it’s only natural that other suitors emerge. Between them, Barcelona are looking to strengthen their backline and could race Liverpool to sign Ratiu as a result this summer.
Whether that speeds up Liverpool’s move is now a big question, especially considering the release clause is there to be triggered by either side.
