The £100m star is set to sign for Arsenal

There hasn’t been much bad news since the end of the season for Arsenal but there are concerns about Bukayo Saka.
Although it won’t affect the Gunners at the moment, England coach Thomas Tuchel revealed a few days ago that it was not possible for the defender to start and finish games.
Saka is currently nursing an Achilles problem that caused him problems last season and caused Mikel Arteta to manage his workload carefully.
However, Tuchel now has to do the same. What Saka really needed this summer was a few months off; not a busy World Cup schedule in one of the hottest climates imaginable.
Alas, Arsenal will hope the player can get through the tournament unscathed before being rested and back in pre-season. As it turns out, he, Eberechi Eze, Declan Rice and Noni Madueke could see one of their England team-mates sign for Arsenal while the tournament plays out.
Arsenal are making progress in their battle to sign England’s big-money man
After winning the Premier League last season, Arsenal are in a great position to strengthen their squad. It represented the best opportunity they had to strengthen in several years.
So, they should use that. Ceiling raisers must be brought to the Emirates in an attempt to launch another assault on the title and the Champions League.
A big-money winger seems to be at the forefront of their minds. PSG’s Bradley Barcola is a name that keeps coming up and after his goal in the World Cup on Tuesday night, it will only get hotter as the tournament continues.
He is not the only one in their unit. Talks are reportedly ongoing over the signing of Club Brugge striker Christos Tzolis. The player wants a move and it is felt that this could be done quickly if Arsenal decide he is the man for the job.

However, their best target is Morgan Rogers. Costing between £80m to £100m, this will be a complex deal. Aston Villa do not want to sell, especially after getting Champions League football. However, they may have to bite the bullet. This is because Rogers wants to move to north London.
That’s according to an insider at the famous club, The Hand of Arsenal. On social media on Tuesday evening, they reported that the striker is interested in joining the Gunners.
Rogers has expressed his desire to leave Villa and now wants to move to the Emirates who are completely sold on the project offered by Arteta. Personal terms have been discussed with the player but so far no agreement has been reached, with Villa and Arsenal already in early talks over a move.
Chelsea were also pleading for Rogers but were met with the answer that they only want Arsenal.
Why Saka loves Morgan Rogers
Speaking after winning the title, co-owner Josh Kroenke revealed that the decision to spend £105m on Declan Rice was a “big moment” for the project. It really changed the game and made them a force to be reckoned with.
Well, with Rogers’ situation, it could be another hard-working moment. Villa are not cup holders, they are one of the best sides in the country under Unai Emery. They are the winners of the Europa League. This move, therefore, feels like a powerplay move from the English champions. They are not here to relax and take a back seat after lifting a large piece of silverware.
In Rogers, they will be signing a game-changing striker, someone who could ultimately elevate Arteta’s front line to a whole new level.
Although he has prioritized defensive strength for most of his tenure, it is time for him to strengthen the attack and boy does he need it. If there was one area where they struggled with consistency last season it was up top.
Leandro Trossard went 25 games without scoring at one point, Gabriel Martinelli netted just once in the Premier League all season and their over-reliance on Saka showed when he was injured. His appointment to replace Noni Madueke, although he is healthy, has also failed to be consistent.
Saka has been working for the Gunners for many years but he is also feeling the effects of that. The last thing they need is an injury-prone player in their squad.
However, the arrival of Rogers could give the team’s number 7 a new lease of life. Together, they can create the most dangerous relationships in the division.
Whether England comes to play on the left or in the center as a no.10, both will represent good news for Saka. If he plays on the left, it will eventually take the attention away from him.
For a long time, Hale Ender has been joined two or three times by opponents. Arsenal have had a strong right-wing bias in their play due to Saka and the lack of quality in comparison on the left.
Well, Rogers can change that. Scorer of 14 goals and provider of 12 assists last season, the former PFA Young Player of the Year winner is one of the best and most consistent players in England’s top flight. He has an aura about him and the same carrying ability of Saka that would make him a formidable threat on the left. Suddenly, you can find Arsenal’s star boy with a huge space on the right.

However, if the Villa man were to play in midfield, he could make Saka even better. While he has enjoyed a fruitful relationship with Martin Odegaard, Rogers is a very dangerous player.
The way he drives through the middle of the pitch with his powerful frame and running ability sees him take out several players in a way that the slower and more agile Odegaard cannot.
He drives the game forward quickly and opens up a lot of space for Saka wherever he plays. That should be music to the ears of a respected university student.
