Manchester United are ramping up their summer business as they prepare for the official opening of the transfer window on Monday.
The summer transfer window opens for business on June 15, and United have been one of the busiest teams in the Premier League at the start.
Ederson’s contract is up, with the Atalanta midfielder set to join the Red Devils once his World Cup campaign with Brazil is over.
Several players have left Michael Carrick’s side, with Casemiro revealing his departure earlier this year and the exits of Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia confirmed last week.
England international Sancho, who joined United in a £73million switch from Borussia Dortmund in 2021, has moved on after spending last season on loan at Aston Villa.
The striker made just 83 appearances for United and also had loan spells at Dortmund and Chelsea. He has been linked with a return to both Dortmund and Villa.

Defender Malacia, 26, made 50 appearances after joining from Feyenoord in 2022, with injuries hampering his progress.
INEOS are expected to return Carrick in significant cash this summer, particularly in midfield, with Fabrizio Romano suggesting they could sign two more after Ederson.
“United have many players who will play in the middle of the field, it could be two, it could be three.
“We have to see how many midfielders there are – at least two.”
One of these is expected to be a marquee signing, with all signs pointing to West Ham United’s Matheus Fernandes, which could leave a third new face the cheapest option in the Ederson range.

According to reports from Spain, via Sport Witness, Manchester United are looking to lure Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado.
The Red Devils have a ‘very close’ relationship with the 22-year-old’s agent, Jorge Mendes.
The young Spanish player has reportedly reached an agreement with Barcelona to leave the club this summer, as he has fallen short of Hansi Flick and lost his place in Spain’s World Cup squad.
Casado started just ten times in La Liga last season and just twice in the Champions League, but completed more than 91 percent of his attempts in those games.
The youngster is not seen as a typical ‘tiki-taka’ graduate of La Masia however, who is praised for his physique and work off the ball.
“He’s an animal,” said Spanish player Bryan Zaragoza after playing with the Barca star. “I don’t even know what to say about the way he played.
United have also been linked with a move for Nottingham Forest star Elliot Anderson, but a hefty £120m price tag has seen INEOS turn to cheaper options.
